Circular Bioeconomy meets the Green Deal – MEP Assistants briefing

EUBA had the pleasure to host today a group of MEP assistants for a special briefing on the role and future of bioeconomy in the EU and especially in the view of upcoming European Green Deal.

Ms Petra Goyens, DG RTD's Team Leader on Bioeconomy opened the briefing with an overview of the EU's Bioeconomy strategy and its key actions, while the EUBA members gave a more sectorial overview and explained the role bioeconomy can play in achieving Europe's climate ambitions and in making the Green Deal a success.
